Georgia! Geooooorgia!

Wow what a crazy week it's been! I haven't been able to do the regular updates because I've been pretty busy with my visit here in Georgia. This has been by far one of the best holiday visits I've ever had. I got to visit my likely future law school (Georgia State) with my girlfriend and her mother. We somehow got lucky because as we were getting there, the admissions coordinator for my name group was covering for the secretary. After about 20 minutes of just talking with her, she volunteered to give us a tour of State herself. She seemed very interested in reviewing my application and potentially getting me a fee waiver. All in all that was a GREAT experience, everyone at that school is so nice and open. I also got to visit the World of Coke and taste Coke from all over the world (VERY fun!). To top it all off, I've been stuffed to my eyeballs with amazing southern food (Paula Deen ain't got nothin on these people!)

Barack Obama has picked the majority of his cabinet now and they aren't waiting for Bush to leave the White House before getting started on their work. Obama has promised to be focused on cutting wasteful spending, increasing government spending where it is needed by creating public works to give people jobs, and keeping people's expenses as low as possible. This sounds a lot like some New Deal Era stuff to me, and I personally think the country needs it right now (Wall-Street seems to agree).

Well that is all for now! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with their loved ones!
